🍂 The Turning — A Ritual Kit for Finding Balance in Transition
An Autumn Equinox ritual for finding your footing through change, releasing what has grown too heavy, and trusting yourself through the turning.
This listing is for the Ritual Envelope only from August's Coven Mail Club.
It does not include the Pocket Grimoire, photo print, or Familiar Post letter.
If you're here for the ritual itself—this is the heart of it. ✨
🌑 About the Ritual
The Turning is a ritual for finding balance when everything around you is changing.
Inspired by the Autumn Equinox and the brief moment when day and night stand in balance, this practice invites you to reconsider what balance actually means.
Not perfect stillness.
Not carrying everything equally.
Not somehow managing to keep every part of your life suspended in perfect equilibrium.
Sometimes balance means shifting your weight.
Putting something down.
Accepting support.
Letting yourself lean.
Originally created for the Autumn Equinox, this ritual can be practised anytime you find yourself at a threshold—a changing season, a transition, an ending, a beginning, or simply a moment when the way you've been carrying things no longer feels sustainable.
🍂 What You'll Receive
Inside the Ritual Envelope you'll find:
• Your gold Equinox Thread — carried from the same spool used in our Spring Equinox ritual
• The Balance Between sigil card — a sigil for balance through transition
• The Turning ritual card with step-by-step instructions for your practice
✨ Each piece is handcrafted, stamped, and blessed before posting.
🕯️ September's Ritual: The Turning
This ritual invites you outdoors for a quiet practice of reflection, release, and reconnection with the land.
You'll consider what is holding you steady.
What has become too heavy.
Where you may need support.
And where it might be time to shift your weight as you move into whatever comes next.
The gold Equinox Thread carries a little extra meaning within this ritual. It comes from the same spool of thread used for the Spring Equinox ritual shared with the Coven six months earlier—a golden line stretching from one threshold of the year to another.
But you don't need to have practised the spring ritual for this one to be complete.
The thread can begin wherever you are.
Because balance doesn't mean nothing changes.
Sometimes finding your centre requires allowing things to change.
Sometimes it means putting something down.
Sometimes it means letting yourself lean.
And sometimes, the path forward only appears once the scales begin to move. 🍂
