A horizon opening in peach, sand, and gold—morning light stretching across the ocean as the world begins again.

The Sunrise Veil is made from an original photograph I took from a balcony in Virginia Beach, on the first morning of my first trip abroad alone. I had fallen asleep with the balcony door open to the sound of the ocean and woke to waves rolling in below me.

Half-awake. Salt air. Barefoot. Listening. Breathing deep.

There was nothing dramatic about the moment. No grand revelation or sudden transformation. Just the quiet realisation:

I’m here. I did this.

This veil holds that feeling—the soft magic of crossing a threshold and discovering yourself already on the other side.
