The Sunrise Headband

The Sunrise Headband is drawn from a photograph I took from a balcony in Virginia Beach—the first time I had ever travelled abroad alone. I left the balcony door open that night, falling asleep to the sound of the ocean, and woke to waves rolling in below me.

This image was taken in that first quiet morning.
Half-awake. Salt air. Barefoot. Listening. Breathing deep.

Soft bands of peach, sand, and golden light—like the horizon stretching open, like something new just beginning.

This piece is for thresholds. For the moments where you realize you’re doing it—living your life, choosing your path, becoming someone you’ve never been before.

Designed for the in-between spaces: early mornings, slow coffee, travel days, long walks, windows open to fresh air. Lightweight and wide, it can be folded as a headband, worn as a bandanna, layered under a hood, or pulled up as a face warmer when the wind picks up.

Printed in permanent inks and cut-and-sewn to order in Montreal, Canada, this ultra-stretch micro-knit fabric holds its shape, dries quickly, and moves with you—through change, through travel, through everything.
