Looking back now, I see it differently.

It was taken at the beginning of a chapter that would eventually lead me through some of the hardest years of my life. But sixteen years later, I can also see every seed I planted along the way—each one eventually growing into the life, the business, and the community I have today.

It feels like the perfect image for Lughnasadh.

A reminder that sometimes we only recognize the harvest when we look back at where we began.
